1. Agreement & Showroom Scope

These Terms and Conditions of Business govern all vehicle viewings, reservations, acquisitions, consignments (Sale or Return), part-exchanges, and sourcing commissions conducted with CarLuxe (referred to as "the Dealership"), registered in England & Wales.

By booking an appointment, submitting an online enquiry, placing a reservation deposit, or signing a Vehicle Purchase Agreement, you acknowledge and accept these terms in full.

2. Showroom Viewings strictly by Appointment

To guarantee complete privacy, dedicated advisory focus, and adequate showroom security, all vehicle inspections and viewings at our Mayfair suite are conducted strictly by prior confirmed appointment. The Dealership reserves the right to decline entry to unannounced visitors or individuals unable to verify their identity.

3. Vehicle Descriptions & Accuracy

Every effort is made to ensure that technical specifications, optional equipment, provenance history, factory paint codes, and mileage figures displayed on our website or promotional material are accurate. However:

• Vehicle specifications are compiled using manufacturer build sheets, HPI provenance registers, and physical inspection. Prospective purchasers are encouraged to physically verify factory options during their private viewing.
• Mileage readings are verified at the point of showroom acquisition. Due to routine pre-delivery preparation, vehicle detailing transit, and PDI road testing, minor nominal mileage variances may occur prior to final delivery.

4. Reservation Holding Deposits

Unless agreed otherwise in writing, reservation deposits are non-refundable in the event of arbitrary purchaser cancellation after the vehicle has been prepared, inspected, and held off-market. Where a vehicle fails our independent mechanical inspection or clear title verification, the deposit is returned in full within 24 hours.

5. Anti-Money Laundering (AML) & Identity Verification

In compliance with the Money Laundering, Terrorist Financing and Transfer of Funds Regulations 2017, the Dealership is legally required to verify the identity and source of wealth of all vehicle purchasers and sellers.

Prior to the release of any vehicle, purchasers must provide valid government photo ID, proof of residential address (dated within 90 days), and settle all balances via verified bank transfer (CHAPS or Faster Payments) drawn from a UK or international bank account in the purchaser's name. Cash payments exceeding statutory thresholds are not accepted.

6. Title & Risk Transfer

Full legal title to any vehicle remains with CarLuxe until all purchase funds have cleared into our designated client bank account in full. Risk of loss or damage passes to the purchaser upon physical collection from our showroom or upon formal sign-off at the delivery address via enclosed transporter.

7. Statutory Rights & Consumer Protection

Nothing in these Terms of Business excludes or restricts your statutory consumer rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015. All vehicles sold for road use undergo rigorous multi-point mechanical inspection and are supplied with valid MOT certification, clear title, and applicable manufacturer or specialist warranty coverage.
